“Share Your Shine” came from a conversation I had with my best friend, Krissy Mueller. Krissy, a yoga and fitness instructor, lives her life motivating others including myself. In early 2021, I became a mom to my sweet baby boy, Elliott Van. After hearing Krissy’s phrase “Share your shine”, I was inspired to write a song with baby Elliott in mind. I finished the song late one night feeding him and rocking him to sleep. I have always lived my life fearlessly and constantly dreaming. After completing the song, I felt compelled to turn the lyrics of the song into a children’s book. It has been so much fun watching my song evolve into this book and I am so excited to share it with you. This book is the perfect way to wind down the day remembering that no matter where life takes you, even through the ups and downs, always remember to share your shine. Kindness will always win.
